From plastic arts, to painting on all surfaces, including bodies, Eli - aka Black8Fox - is a vulcano of creative ideas - and a living meme.

Eli remembers always loving DIY, as it runs in the family - her mother holding workshops on the matter throughout her childhood.

Black8Fox started editing on her own at 13, becoming familiar with digital graphic design programs.

In 2011 she decided to turn art into her full-time job, enrolling first at Centro Scolastico delle Industrie Artistiche (CSIA) as a Scenography Painter (AFC/MPA) and then deepening her knowledge as a Digital Graphic Designer with a focus on computer animation at Scuola Specializzata Superiore in Arte Applicata (SSS-AA).

In 2021 she attended a series of courses in tattooing, realism and tattoo hygiene.

She has been on a break starting 2023 and is now doing art independently and on demand.

Eli is exploring resin and wax creations (self-taught), and aims to make her own molds.

After joining OKONOMICOS, Eli is also dipping her toes in the world of cosplay props, where she can put into practice what she has learnt through the years - other than compulsively shopping for different arts and crafts materials which "maybe will be useful in the future" (spoiler: not in the near future).

I have a passion for dark/fantasy, TV series and videogames, although I would not describe myself as a gamer [...] , and always found a lot of inspiration in League of Legends' splash arts. [...]

She strongly believes in learning while trying and loves the creative challenge intrinsic in any crazy project she embarks - as she is known to run after novel and polyhedric ideas.

I love observing people and portraiture, may this be casually on the streets or in a specific setting. Faces fascinate me with the stories they tell.

Dalle arti plastiche alla pittura su tutte le superfici, compresi i corpi, Eli - alias Black8Fox - è un vulcano di idee - e un meme vivente.

Ricorda di aver sempre amato il fai da te, essendo una vera e propria tradizione di famiglia - sua madre teneva laboratori sull'argomento durante tutta l'infanzia di Eli.

Eli ha iniziato a editare fotografie a 13 anni, familiarizzandosi in modo indipendente con vari programmi di grafica digitale.

Nel 2011 ha deciso di trasformare l'arte nel suo lavoro a tempo pieno, iscrivendosi prima al Centro Scolastico delle Industrie Artistiche (CSIA) come pittrice scenografa (AFC/MPA) e poi approfondendo le sue conoscenze come grafica digitale con specializzazione in animazione al computer alla Scuola Specializzata Superiore in Arte Applicata (SSS-AA). Nel 2021 ha frequentato una serie di corsi di tatuaggio, realismo e igiene del tatuaggio.

Ho una passione per il fantasy/dark, i videogiochi e le serie tv, anche se non mi definirei una gamer [...] , e ho sempre trovato molta ispirazione nelle splash art di League of Legends. [...]

Dal 2023 ha preso una pausa e fa arte in modo indipendente, su richiesta. Sta esplorando da autodidatta il mondo della resina e della cera, per cui intende presto sviluppare stampi propri.

Dopo essersi unita a OKONOMICOS, si sta addentrando nel mondo delle props cosplay per mettere in pratica le varie conoscenze che ha acquisito negli anni - oltre a dedicarsi allo shopping compulsivo di materiale artistico “magari in futuro mi servirà” (spoiler: non nell’immediato futuro).

Eli crede fermamente nell'apprendimento attraverso la pratica e ama la sfida creativa insita in ogni progetto folle che intraprende, poiché è nota per perseguire idee innovative e poliedriche.

Amo osservare le persone e ritrarle, sia casualmente per strada che in un ambiente specifico. I volti mi affascinano per le storie che raccontano.
