Born in 1994, Danilo Triangeli, aka Darko, discovered his passion for miniature painting in 2007 – the date shown on his first membership card for the historic Drago Rosso in Locarno.

Fascinated by the epic battle scenes in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, Darko decided that he absolutely had to recreate them, and the local model shop became his new favourite spot.

The energetic and boisterous community of painters and enthusiasts that gathered around this space became one of the formative experiences for Darko's passion in languages and communication.

Decades later, Darko's interests have grown considerably, including IPs such as Warhammer, Trench Crusade, Malifaux, and models from both historical and independent artists, while remaining faithful first and foremost to the local scene.

During his bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences at USI in Lugano, he met a close-knit group of students who were passionate about comics and manga. Together, they became avid visitors to comic book fairs in Ticino and northern Italy, where Darko lived out his passion for this environment and took his first steps into the world of cosplay.

Darko's Master's degree concludes with two theses focusing on the themes of online communities and fandoms, where he explores topics such as the professionalism of emerging digital figures (e.g. streamers), the loss of physical third spaces in favour of online spaces, and the often unstable relationship between visual arts and videogaming.

The joy inherent in the small interactions that take place at fairs was the spark that brought Darko closer to the members of OKONOMICOS, in whom he found the perfect family with whom to share his whole self. He became a permanent member of the collective in 2022, the same year in which he successfully played Silco from “Arcane: League of Legends”, winning with the team best group at Japan Matsuri in Bellinzona.

Darko has also recently taken up carpentry and has begun working with construction tools more complex than his trusty balsa stripper knife (although the results of this work are not yet ready to be shown to the public).

Nonetheless, his main focus and undying first-love remains miniatures: such is Darko's need to expand his army of plastic figurines that in 2023 he began experimenting with 3D modeling, printing and resin.

Classe 1994, Danilo Triangeli, in arte Darko, scopre la sua passione per la pittura di miniature nel 2007 - data riportata sulla sua prima tessera dello storico Drago Rosso di Locarno.

Rimasto affascinato dalle epiche scene di battaglia della trilogia de "Il Signore degli Anelli", Darko decide che ne deve assolutamente mettere in scena e il negozio di modellismo locale diventa la sua nuova meta preferita.

L'energica e rumorosa comunità di pittori ed amatori che si aggrega intorno a questo spazio diventa una delle esperienze fondanti per la passione di Darko per la comunicazione.

A decadi di distanza gli interessi di Darko sono cresciuti considerevolmente, includendo IP come "Warhammer", "Trench Crusade", "Malifaux", e modelli sia storici, sia di artisti indipendenti, restando tuttavia fedeli in primis alla realtà locale.

Durante il bachelor in Scienze della Comunicazione all'USI di Lugano, incontra un affiatato gruppo di studenti appassionati di fumetti e manga. Insieme diventano avidi frequentatori di fiere del fumetto in Ticino e nel Nord d'Italia, dove Darko vive la sua passione per questo ambiente e avanza i primi passi nel mondo cosplay.

Il Master di Darko si conclude con due tesi incentrate sui temi delle comunità online e dei fandom, dove approfondisce temi quali la professionalità di figure digitali emergenti - e.g. streamer -, la perdita di luoghi d'incontro fisici - in favore degli spazi online -, e la relazione spesso instabile che scaturisce tra videografia e videoludica.

La gioia intrinseca alle piccole interazioni che avvengono nelle fiere è stata la scintilla che ha avvicinato Darko ai membri di OKONOMICOS, nei quali ha trovato la famiglia perfetta con la quale condividere tutto se stesso. Diventa membro permanente della collettiva nel 2022, stesso anno in cui interpreta con successo Silco da "Arcane: League of Legends" vincendo con insieme al team miglior gruppo al Japan Matsuri di Bellinzona.

Recentemente Darko si è avvicinato anche al mondo della carpenteria e ha cominciato a lavorare con attrezzi da costruzione più complessi del suo fidato coltellino per la balsa (anche se il risultato di questi lavori non è ancora pronto per essere mostrato al pubblico).

Il suo focus principale - e primo grande amore - resta tuttavia il modellismo: tale è il bisogno di Darko di espandere le sue armate di pupazzetti di plastica che dal 2023 ha iniziato a sperimentare con la stampa 3D e a resina.
